About Me

I am a Materials Scientist and Engineer (Ph.D., University of British Columbia; B.Tech. and M.Tech., IIT-BHU) with over 10 years of experience in sustainable materials, low-carbon cements, advanced ceramics, and waste-derived composites. My work focuses on low-carbon binder technologies, industrial by-product valorization, and durability testing, consistently delivering solutions that combine technical performance, scalability, and environmental benefit.

My expertise includes advanced material characterization (XRD, SEM/EDX, BET, TGA/DSC, FTIR, µ-CT, Reactivity and Mechanical Tests) and performance evaluation (bio-corrosion resistance, radionuclide immobilization, dissolution and leaching studies, long-term durability). I apply these methods to design and optimize materials that address industry challenges while meeting sustainability goals.

My doctoral research focused on geopolymers and nuclear waste immobilization, deepening my expertise in engineering cement-based and ceramic systems for long-term stability and reliable performance in extreme environments. My involvement in scientific publishing and peer review further strengthened my ability to critically assess emerging technologies and deliver rigorous, evidence-based insights.

Alongside technical expertise, I contribute to mentorship, project supervision, and industry–academic engagement, while also creating innovative STEM outreach activities that make sustainability concepts accessible to wider audiences.
